Our commitment to our patient’s health and safety has always been a priority, following the arrival of COVID-19, this is even more vital.
As with many aspects of our day to day lives post Corona virus, visiting the dentist will be a little different in future. We want to make your visit to us as stress free as possible whilst following strict Government guidelines.
As part of our new working practice we now offer video consultation appointments for clients who are looking to start treatments such as teeth straightening. This is a great way for us to do an initial assessment without having to see you in person.
To maintain a sterile environment, the practice will now be clutter-free. We have removed all magazines and refreshments for example, however we are still the same friendly team behind the PPE! Our standard of care is the same as it has always been, and your comfort and safety is paramount.
Prior to your appointment, we will be sending you key information via email, this will contain a link to our online medical form which you will need to complete. If we are unable to carry out all of the recommended Covid 19 checks we will unfortunately have to cancel your appointment.
If you pay for your dental treatment, you will be asked to pay in advance online or over the phone, this will help minimise contact at the practice.
Before leaving home prior to your appointment, please do make sure that you are hydrated, you have brushed your teeth, and used the toilet.
When you arrive, remain in your car, or outside of the practice, and call us to let us know that you’re here. For your safety and that of our staff the practice doors will be locked, and we will let you in when it’s safe to do so. Please bring only what you need to the appointment.
Our team will be wearing extra PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in the practice, and when you enter you will be asked to sanitise your hands and we will also record your temperature.
Where possible please attend your appointment alone, we understand that you may require additional assistance or have a young child and if this is the case please do discuss with us at the time of booking the appointment.
Otherwise, from this point on your appointment will be much the same as usual, treatment areas are disinfected between each patient and every precaution has been taken so that your safety or that of our staff is not compromised.
Patients who are recovering from the virus or are showing symptoms will unfortunately not be able to attend appointments, but we do look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay safe, and well.
