Step 1 – Book your free Invisalign® Smile Assessment consultation
To start your journey to a new straighter, brighter smile, simply book your FREE Invisalign® Smile Assessment. During this initial, no-obligation consultation, we will ask about your ideal outcome and explain how Invisalign® treatment works. We will also give you a guide to timescales and costs.

Call us: 01992 940440 or book online now (you can choose to do this via VIDEO or arrange an appointment at the Practice):

Step 2 – Get your FREE Invisalign® Smile Visualisation and Treatment Plan
On the day of your Smile Visualisation appointment, using our state-of-the-art Itero 3D imaging scanner, we will create a highly accurate visualisation of the outcome possible after treatment using Invisalign®. This procedure is completely non-invasive, pain-free and takes just a few minutes.

You will be able to see the results of your scan almost immediately. This will show you how your new smile could look and you will then be given access to these scans to help you consider if you would like to go ahead with treatment.

Step 3 – your Invisalign® treatment starts
On the date you start treatment, Our orthodontist will carry out a thorough clinical examination to re-check your suitability for treatment and if necessary, recommend any pre-treatment work (for example, we may recommend that you visit the Hygienist for a thorough clean of your mouth before starting your teeth straightening).

We will also take photographs of your teeth and smile. Together with your detailed 3D scan, these will help our Invisalign® technicians to create your aligners. We will now submit your details and your custom Invisalign® clear aligners will be scheduled for manufacture. They will then be shipped to the Practice and an appointment will be arranged for you to collect them and begin the treatment process.

Step 4 – Invisalign Aligner collection and fitting
Once your Invisalign® clear aligners have been delivered to the Practice, we will get back in touch to arrange an appointment to fit your aligners and explain what you need to know as your teeth straightening begins. You will be provided with a series of Invisalign® clear aligners to fit approximately every week. You will be able to do this at home but we will arrange regular appointments during the course of treatment to check all is progressing as planned.

Look, no wires!

By using Invisalign® clear aligners, achieving the smile you always dreamed of is closer than you think.

The traditional route to correcting issues such as gaps, crooked teeth and overcrowding has long been visible braces. However, the Invisalign® system uses no brackets or wires – the aligners are clear, removable and comfortable. Therefore, they won’t interfere with your appearance or your day to day life.

A straight smile also often means a healthy smile. Not only will Invisalign® clear dental aligners straighten your teeth, they will also improve your overall dental health at the same time!

The Invisalign® aligner system straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every few weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.

Moving even when you’re not

As the Invisalign® system discreetly does its work, life can continue as normal. Invisalign® clear aligners are trimmed to your exact gum line so you can comfortably wear your aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day with little disruption. Even when you’re not moving, your teeth will be.

After starting your treatment, it won’t take long until you notice a big difference in your smile. Your Invisalign® clear aligners are custom-made with proprietary SmartTrack material. They fit snugly over your teeth and are clinically proven to improve control of movement, gently moving your teeth and even rotating them when needed.

Invisalign® FAQ's

Q: What is the INVISALIGN® clear aligner system?

A: Invisalign® clear aligners are a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always dreamed of. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, we can plan your complete Invisalign® treatment based on your unique clinical conditions, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position.

Q: How much does INVISALIGN® treatment cost?

A: As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign® clear aligners is dependent upon the complexity of your teeth straightening and your course of treatment. As a general rule, the cost is comparable to traditional fixed braces. In simple terms, the more complex your teeth straightening, the more Invisalign® aligners are needed to achieve your best smile. Conversely, the less complex the straightening, the less Invisalign® aligners are needed.

Consequently, based on the number of Invisalign® aligners your dentist prescribes as needed, the price goes up or down accordingly. On this basis, only an accredited Invisalign® dentist or Orthodontist Provider is able to determine your cost. However, in the UK, prices for Invisalign® treatment is generally between £3,000 - £5,000* (depending upon the complexity).

Q: Is INVISALIGN® treatment a new way to straighten teeth?

A: Dentists and orthodontists have successfully used removable appliances for years. However, with the application of Align Technology’s 3D computer technology and aligner customisation, Invisalign® clear aligners can be used to treat a wide range of patients who want straighter teeth. The unique ClinCheck® software allows patients to see their treatment plan from beginning to end even before the start of treatment.

Q: What are the key benefits of the INVISALIGN® clear aligner system?

Invisalign® clear aligners are nearly invisible. No one may even notice that you’re wearing these virtually invisible aligners, making Invisalign® treatment a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others.

Invisalign® clear aligners are removable giving you the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment. You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and to maintain good oral hygiene.

Unlike traditional fixed dental braces, there are no metal brackets or wires. This means that in most cases, less time is spent at the dentist for adjustments. Advanced 3D computer-imaging technology allows you to view your virtual results and receive a detailed treatment plan so you can see how your teeth are expected to look when your treatment is complete.

Q: What is the minimum age of a patient to be treated with Invisalign® aligners?

With experience, an Invisalign® dentist or orthodontist can use Invisalign® clear aligners to treat malocclusion for a majority of adults and adolescents who want a better smile. For teenagers, talk to us about Invisalign® Teen which may be a very good treatment option.

Q: How long does Invisalign® treatment take?

The total duration of treatment depends on the complexity of the treatment and is generally comparable to that of traditional braces. Typically treatment can last between 3 and 18 months. During your consultation, we can provide you with more detailed information.
